History of Intercultural Dimensions
Since 1978, staff leaders of Intercultural Dimensions have organized and led educational exchanges to France and Spain and cultural awareness trips to Burkina Faso and Senegal. An ID leader was selected by Harvard University to lead Harvard's trip to Senegal and Mali.
ID staff
have conducted workshops in leadership, team building and intercultural
understanding. ID has been operating its Crossing Cultures
Senegal
program once or twice a year since 1994.
Since 1996, ID has been facilitating participants' field study and volunteer activities, when desired, following the conclusion of the program.
